Our work focuses on turning the care we have for each other into simple, creative, effective action. We want to build a world that’s free of harassment and filled with humanity. Every day, we train hundreds of people to respond to, intervene in, and heal from harassment. We hold space for people experiencing harassment to share their stories for affirmation and support. And we prepare new leaders to create workplaces, schools, and communities around the world that are filled with humanity.
We are a global team of educators, motivators, and facilitators listening, guiding, and cheering you on. The world we want isn’t some far-off destination. It’s something we create and recreate, bit by bit, every day. It’s imperfect, courageous, beautiful work. It’s us. Here. Now.
We aim to equip people with the tools to combat harassment in their everyday lives and to create impact in the organizations, institutions, and businesses around them. We provide free and customized trainings across a number of topics including Bystander Intervention; How to Respond to Harassment; Conflict De-Escalation; Resilience; and more.
We hold space for you and anyone who wants to join in building a world free of harassment and filled with humanity. We offer you tools to take action and respond to harassment. We provide you with resources to heal, build resilience, and step into your power. Some people find showing support for others can be healing and here you have a space to do that too. Sharing your story also supports healing and can increase your likelihood and others’ likelihood of taking action.
We’ve exceeded every goal we set for ourselves. Right To Be (formerly Hollaback!) has been able to make an impact because of people like you. We recognize and affirm the humanity of each person and our work amplifies the power each of us hold to create change.

This training gave me new tools to support someone experiencing discrimination. I had always thought my only option was to directly engage with the aggressor, which was terrifying to me. To know I have a lot of other tools I can use will be very helpful.

Having completed this training, I feel empowered to respond to incidents of disrespect and bias in the workplace. And more importantly, I feel like my colleagues do too, and that together we are stronger.

I have nothing but positive things to say about our custom training from Right To Be (formerly Hollaback!). Our staff had expressed a need for training that would give us concrete tools to help us safely intervene if we witnessed something inappropriate, and this training delivered.
