Statement on Gaza Conflict

Right To Be, an organization working to end hate and harassment in all its forms, condemns the violence impacting Israelis and Palestinians.

Although the conflict is ultimately between two countries — not two religions —  the history of this region leads us to anticipate a significant increase in hate, harassment, and abuse for all Jewish and Muslim communities.

We call each on other to disrupt the cycle of violence by turning the grief, anger, and sadness that we feel into care — and to resist the desire to turn our frustration on each other.

To support this moment, we are offering the following free trainings:

  • Conflict De-Escalation In Protest Spaces. October 26 at 11:00 AM EST. Register Here.

We believe all of us have a responsibility to stand up to hate, wherever it may lie. In addition to attending these trainings, we also encourage you to donate to our partners at T’ruah and CAIR-Chicago as they support their grieving communities — and to Right To Be, so that we can ramp up our free bystander intervention trainings to meet this difficult moment.
