Join Us This Friday At Our Let’s Talk: The Roundtable Facebook Live Event With Bridgett Floyd And Michael S. Williams

Please join us at the Let’s Talk: Stop Sponsored Police Violence & Anti-Black Racist Harassment Roundtable on November 5, 2021, at 7 pm. We will be honored to talk with Bridgett Floyd (sister of late George Floyd) and social justice activist Michael S. Williams, from the Black On Black Project, to explore strategies to help put an end to the disparate treatment Black Americans experience in the legal system (including police, courts, jails/prisons).

The conversation, which will be facilitated by UniQue Webster, Hollaback’s Director of External Affairs, will also explore the participation of Black Americans in American political and social life. Join us on Facebook and YouTube and click here for more information on our work to fight anti-black racism and upcoming training dates.

More about Hollaback!’s partnership with the Jordan Brand:

In 2020, Hollaback! and Black Agency Executives (BAE) developed the Bystander Intervention to Stop Police Violence and Anti-Black Racist Harassment training in response to the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. The goal of the training is to highlight the deep inequities Black Americans face in public space, while empowering allies to intervene with tools to de-escalate violence.

This year, Hollaback! has been selected as an inaugural recipient of a Community Grant from Michael Jordan and the Jordan Brand as part of its Black Community Commitment Grant Program.
